Описание: My family and I decided to take a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to celebrate my 42nd Birthday. Our friends, the Taulbees, joined us to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary as well. It was all pretty last minute, which added to the excitement and spontaneity of it all.

We decided to stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa, which is now called Now Amber Resort Puerto Vallarta. After experiencing a great time with all-inclusivity at Beaches, Turks and Caicos, we were hooked and had to do it again.

We mainly stayed at the resort enjoying the amenities and beach. We ended up joining a horseback riding tour, which was Derrick and Dustin's first time. One day, we spent touring the town and strolled the Malecón boardwalk, where we had some delicious, fresh seafood. The octopus dish was to die for! I was also able to try the town's specialty drink, La Tuba, which is made of coconut cream and apple vinegar. The liquid of the coconut plant is extracted and complemented with small pieces of apple and walnuts. It originated in Africa but it's a refreshing summer drink here in Puerto Vallarta. We ended our nights watching fireworks by the shore celebrating various wedding and events. We also sampled some real high-end tequila during my birthday dinner.

Overall, the experience was completely wonderful. It was relaxing yet invigorating being in another part of the world for the first time. It was also a joy watching all the kids enjoy each other's company.
