Описание: Over 100 bodies have washed up on shore near the Libyan city of Zuwara in recent days. They are believed to be migrants who drowned trying to cross the Mediterranean over the past two days. Departures from the North African coast towards Italy surged last week. Many of the boats left from the shore around Zuwara and Sabratha in Libya's northwest. So far this year more than 40,000 migrants have crossed the Mediterranean Sea from North Africa to Italy by paying people smugglers for the journey.
