Hihi everyone! I finally finished the cutscene 😭
This one is quite hard to write and understand imo, there's barely any dialogue unlike the other two Beast/Ancient AU stories, so this cutscene may not be entirely similar to the original story's theme, but I tried my best I guess qwq. I hope y'all enjoy this vid!

Here's my interpretation:
I wanted to show and slowly build up Dark Cacao's feelings of anguish until he chose to accept it. From the first vision where his warriors crumbled when they're with him, and the second vision of them feeling liberated from the pain ever since he was gone, forgetting his efforts as they slowly adapt to an apathetic lifestyle (isolating themselves, avoiding training, etc.)

Ofc this made him more regretful. Until Mystic Flour persuades him into acceptance, basically saying that no Cookie will feel this same anguish if he let Apathy embrace him.

(Also the "light" that Mystic Flour saw during their transformation into their costumes is akin to when she went corrupt. Kinda wanna add that there as a headcanon hehe)

And so both of them transformed. Both of them are apathetic, but I think Mystic Flour gained a bit of his Resolution during that. Her desire to turn Cookiekind into flour (or mist??) has been slightly stronger. Her watching the dewdrops "endure the cycle" is a metaphor to let Cookiekind slowly suffer until their agony quickly turns into acceptance because of her teachings. But in Dark Cacao's vision, simply not interfering the cycle reflects his now-apathetic mindset, the loss of interest to not do anything, as it will only cause pain no matter what.
