Building Brighter Readers: Celebrating Volunteer Sharon Bolos

In this video, we are honored to feature Sharon Bolos, a dedicated volunteer whose impact spans generations of students at Freedom Elementary, Country View Elementary, and Kanesville Elementary.
Sharon’s journey began with her own six children. Even after they moved on from elementary school, her passion for helping children succeed in reading kept her coming back to the classroom week after week. Today, she continues that legacy by volunteering in the classes of her three grandchildren.
Small Acts, Big Impact:
Celebrating Success: Sharon is known for writing encouraging sticky notes for students to keep on their desks when they meet a goal.
Holiday Joy: From Valentine’s treats to her famous "mummy" chocolates at Halloween, she makes every holiday special for the kids.
