He tackles cultural stereotypes as a German comedian living in America. Using his sharp self-aware humor, Mario explores his own German guilt, his experience being in a German/Jewish marriage, and how living in Los Angeles is a bit different from his small home town where he grew up chopping wood in the black forest. Through his stories about punctuality and efficiency, cross-cultural misunderstandings, and blind ambition, Mario realizes his outsider perspective is his greatest asset.

“My Struggle” was recorded at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, CA. The special was directed by Patrick Muhlberger and was executive produced by Mario Adrion, Stephen Gordon Walker, Jordan Henry, Bill Dawes.
