In this lesson I'll teach you Tears In Heaven Easy Fingerstyle classic in the simplest way possible. We will work through each part and take the time to practice it properly. This is one of the most popular songs ever on guitar, and I've taught it many, many times in private sessions. As a result, I feel I have a pretty good amount of insight as to the best way to actually get good at this song.

The lesson begins with the shapes needed for the verse. Since this is a fingerpicking tune, we don't have to play each shape as we would when strumming. I show you how to move through all of them as easily as possible, and then we work on building it into our muscle memory.

The fingerpicking pattern for this is really important. I want you to work on it till it's second-nature. As we do throughout this whole video, I make a point of working on all the trickiest parts. Once we've worked it out, we combine it with the chords and get the first section.

After that, it's just a matter of working through each section of the song, bit-by-bit. This is more of a practice guide, that gives you opportunities to work on everything, rather than simply showing you the TAB.

The last thing we do is play through the whole thing together, nice and slow.
