New road and bridge works specifications launched

Описание: Continuing with matters from the Ministry of Works and Transport, the government has officially launched the 2026 General Specifications for Road and Bridge Works, replacing the outdated 2005 manual. The new guidelines are aimed at eliminating substandard construction while streamlining how national infrastructure projects are built and financed. In addition, the Ministry has confirmed that Lot 2 of the Kampala Flyover Project is set to begin soon. This phase will see the construction of a new flyover stretching from Mukwano Industries, through the former Electoral Commission offices on Nile Avenue, up to Centenary Park.
