China, Russia, India and the United States are all competing for influence in a rapidly changing global order. At the centre of this geopolitical churn is the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) — a Eurasian grouping that now includes China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus and the Central Asian republics.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi attends the 26th SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, an important question emerges: What does the SCO actually mean for India?
