The hulking Milano Bridge, a 1,200-foot-long container ship, caused a great deal of damage as it attempted to dock at the port of Busan, South Korea.
The ship approached a pier with the help of a pair of tugboats, but for reasons so far unknown, its huge stern careered into the towering cranes on the dock, causing one of them to collapse on top of it.
The Milano Bridge also impacted another ship docked further down the pier, the Seaspan Ganges. This shocking footage captures the moment of impact.
