Domestic Violence Awareness Month begins in October. Genesis Women's Shelter & Support in North Texas is partnering with Galleria Dallas to create awareness and to take steps toward stopping this epidemic.
An educational display will be up for view near the Galleria's Apple store starting October 4th until the 31st. Those who pass by will learn about the startling statistics about domestic violence, especially here in Texas.
Miss Jan Langbein, CEO of Genesis Women's Shelter & Support, joined Kristin Diaz on Newsradio 1080 KRLD to discuss what is so alarming about the statistics of domestic violence here in the state.
