In this video I try out a new celadon-style glaze, Spectrum's 1471 Orchid. Semi-transparent or translucent glazes are known for being prone to blotchiness - will this one pass the test? I won't ruin the ending, but definitely watch to the end of this video... this glaze was not what I expected.
I test Spectrum's Orchid glaze at cone 6, layering it with other glazes including Mayco's Rose Quartz, Coyote's Amethyst, and a couple of surprise glazes - you'll need to stay tuned to the end to see those!
