• We will not allow any NATO member states to deploy troops on Ukrainian territory because it will be another line of attack against Russia [...] This is unacceptable for us.
• The best [security guarantees] will be good relations between Russia and the United States, as well as good relations between Russia and European countries, including the UK.
• We need a comprehensive settlement with the other countries involved [in the Ukraine crisis] to ensure that we will never experience a threat from Ukraine or NATO.
• Here in London they are never talking about diplomatic efforts [with regard to Ukraine]. London is not interested in it. The UK is interested in pushing Ukrainians to continue fighting and causing harm to Russia.
• We are moving towards a new multipolar world [...] which includes different states, not only big ones, like Russia, China or the US. What we need is to respect the interests of every country and government, understand them and avoid confrontation.
