Описание: Engneer Pass, one of Colorado's highest and most challenging passes in the San Juan Mountains. We had some trail challenges to get to the top but the huge views are worth it! We went from the historic mining town of Silverton to the old mining town of Lake City on the last leg of a four day trip through the San Juans. Previous legs included exploring near Creede, another great historic mining town, and the rocky struggle up Stony Pass to Silverton.

The AWD Transit Overland channel follows Jim and Katya Preston as they explore the U.S. West and could reach into Mexico, Canada, and Alaska in the future. Jim is a native of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California and learned to off-road with the 1957 Willys ranch Jeep at age 12, 1963. Katya was born on a train in Siberia, Russia. They have traveled extensively since meeting in 1994 in Anchorage, Alaska and started traveling and camping in Ford vans in 1996. Trips included hot springs in northern Mexico and along the Alaska Highway in Canada to driving deep into the Brooks Range in Alaska above the Arctic Circle, and decades of road trips and overlanding in the U.S. West.
