In October 1966 Govan Citadel Band of the Salvation Army undertook a landmark tour of the USA and Canada.
The extensive Itinerary for the tour was:

29/30 Halifax, Nova Scotia
This video is taken from some home cine films shot by the Deputy bandmaster Hector Kilgour and hopefully conveys some of the personalities of the bandsmen that undertook the tour.
The music is from the 2000 CD recording made by the Band in time for their return visit to Canada in 2000. Some of the tracks from the 1966 souvenir recording of the band have been posted here on YouTube.
