As much as I crave for newer arrangements of old themes like this, the retro feel this one has definitely fits them. Even though I only played the old ones much later! It's just something that makes you understand how early ZUN was in his career when he composed the theme yet it still stands firmly on its own among with all of the newer work. Last Judgement will always be one of the best fast-paced PC-98 stage themes.
I still don't understand how ZUN made two 5th stage bosses in a row blade-throwing maids.
