This video demonstrates the proper way to fold and roll a shelter half for the two-man pup tents from WW2. The technique shown keeps the stakes and poles secure inside the rolled half so they don't slide out.
The tent in this video is the second model which was introduced late in 1943 which allowed both ends of the tent to be closed.
