Описание: I was diving in Hanalei Bay doing a coral study as a marine biologist and I had a magical encounter with an Eagle Ray! This large female ray came out of the deep and swam around me several times. I noticed she had an octopus in her mouth. After doing several passes she came right up to me and put the octopus right into my hand then she disappeared back into the depths. I was quite honored to have this experience because in old Hawaii Eagle Rays were thought to be the guardian of the coral reef! Just maybe she wanted to share a lunch with me so I could continue trying to study and save her coral reef habitat in Hanalei Bay!
