During my stay at the Holiday Inn on Oxford Street, I experienced clear discrimination. On multiple occasions, I was repeatedly asked for my room number, even while simply sitting in the reception lobby with friends who were also guests. One evening, we were asked for our room number three times within ten minutes, despite just relaxing in the lobby.

The worst incident occurred when a staff member, who had been monitoring us, followed us into the lift and pulled us out to count how many people were heading to our room. Strangely, this same action wasn’t applied to the straight couple in the lift with us.

Later that night, around 2 AM, after returning from filming at DILF, I was stopped again alongside my roommate as we tried to go up to our room. Even though we informed the receptionist of our room number and confirmed that two of us were staying together, he insisted that someone was already upstairs. I lost my temper when he refused to come up with us or send security to check. Only after my roommate spoke with him did he allow us to go up.

On Sunday, my final day, I left my bag in my friend’s room since I would be filming and had an early flight on Monday. Again, I was denied access to the hotel when I tried to retrieve my bag. An argument ensued, but as I was no longer a guest that day, I couldn’t stay in the hotel. My friend had to go up alone, and I was forced to wait outside and change my clothes on the street. I nearly missed my flight due to the delay.

Although the security and receptionist were within their rights that time, the entire experience left a sour taste. After posting a review on Google, I received a call from the manager of a different Holiday Inn branch. He apologized on behalf of the hotel and assured me that the manager of the branch I stayed at would follow up. Unfortunately, that call never came.
