A quick drive through Sheffield during lockdown on Penistone Road and Leppings Lane filmed in 4k by Sheffield Videos.

This Sheffield drive starts at the bottom of Netherthorpe Road before turning left onto Penistone Road and heading towards Hillsborough.

We drive along passing the junction with Rutland Road on the right, before also passing the (very quiet) Texaco petrol garage on the left that seems spookily quiet compared to the normal hustle and bustle of Sheffield life.

Further along Penistone Road we come to the junction of Flora Street leading up to the Aldi supermarket. On our right hand side we pass Hillfoot Bridge at Neepsend, that leads to the famous Sheffield pub the Farfield Inn.

As we head towards Hillsborough we pass the New Barrack Tavern pub, McDonalds, B&Q, KFC, and PIzza Hut as well as the Owlerton Greyhound Track over on the right just before the Parish Church of Saint John the Baptist.

Over on the right hand side we drive past the Owl Crown Pub on Penistone Road, and Swann Morton on the left, before arriving at Lily's Sandwich Shop, a particular favourite of ours (yummy sandwiches and oven bottom breadcakes!)

This Sheffield tour continues on though and we soon see Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Swimming baths on the right hand side opposite Hillsborough Park.

Once past Hillsborough Park this Sheffield drive brings us to Hillsborough Stadium, home of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. A magnificent and vast stadium that is usually full of fanatical football fans watching their beloved Sheffield Wednesday play.

Once past Hillsborough Stadium we come to the Leppings Lane roundabout where we take a left onto Leppings Lane itself.

A quiet residential suburb this is a very popular road for getting about and is usually full of traffic queuing but not today when we filmed this Sheffield drive. Today it's eerily quiet.

We come to the Leppings Lane entrance to Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough Stadium. This leads to the West Stand primarily but you can also access the North Stand and South Stand if you're a home fan.

Rounding the corner on Leppings Lane we take a right at the lights onto Catch Bar Lane and then onto Middlewood Road where this Sheffield drive ends.
