The Costa Daurada is a strip of Mediterranean coastline in Spain's Catalonia region, southwest of Barcelona. Resorts and beaches line the coast, known for its calm, shallow waters. Tarragona, the area’s main city, has the Roman Tarragona Amphitheatre and a 12th-century cathedral. Nearby is the Roman Pont del Diable aqueduct. The city of Reus hosts the Gaudí Centre, with exhibits on the famed architect’s work.

Costa Dorada is the tourist number assigned to the coast of the Balearic Sea, in the Mediterranean, located in the province of Tarragona (Spain) from the mouth of the Río Foix to the Ebro Delta. It borders the Costa del Garraf (Province of Barcelona) to the north and the Costa del Azahar (Province of Castellón) to the south.

One of the Costa Dorada's tourist attractions is the PortAventura World leisure complex, located between the municipalities of Vilaseca and Salou, near the provincial capital, Tarragona.

In addition, places like Vendrell beaches, the Roc de San Gaieta, the Arco de Bará, the archaeological site of Tarragona declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO on November 30, 2000,1 as well as several small towns or places like San Carlos de la Rápita, with one of the best fishing ports in this coastal sector. Denomination

There is the Bosque de Poblet, cataloged by the Government of Catalonia as a Natural Park because it is one of the best preserved in the Prades mountains. The forest, which was part of the domains of the monastery of Poblet since the twelfth century, has a rich offer of itineraries to discover it. The environment, which has the old forest houses of La Pena, Castellfollit and el Tillar, has a high geological and vegetational interest, in which holm oaks, pine forests, yew forests, oaks, as well as riparian forests stand out.
