A six-foot-tall male dancer in high heels shatters stereotypes proving that performers can come in all shapes and sizes.

Erik Cavanaugh might be taller than the average male, but once he puts on his skyscraper high heels he towers, literally and metaphorically.

Despite the body image stereotypes surrounding the dance industry, the 26-year-old hasn’t allowed other people’s negative opinion about his body size to get in the way of accomplishing his dream, with the Pittsburgh dancer getting into the profession 16 years ago, and not looking back once.

With his videos acting as inspiration to his 100k plus followers, Erik has proved all the doubters wrong, and that dancers come in all sizes.
