Dunkirk (2017) - IMAX Footage [HD]

Описание: Dunkirk was shot in two different formats: 5-perf 65mm film, and 15-perf 65mm IMAX film.
I've assembled the raw IMAX footage from Dunkirk into one video!

In order to show the 15-perf 65mm film in dailies, 4-perf 35mm prints were struck from the IMAX footage. This allowed for screening on a conventional 35mm projector while still retaining the 1.43:1 aspect ratio of IMAX film.

Two different 65mm negatives were assembled for Dunkirk: 15-perf and 5-perf. Both made use of original negative material. For the 15-perf all the original IMAX negative was cut together, with the 5-perf footage optically blown up to a 15-perf duplicate negative. This was used to strike the IMAX 70mm prints. The 5-perf negative was assembled from the original 5-perf footage and the 15-perf IMAX footage pulled down to a 5-perf duplicate negative. This was used to strike the conventional 5-perf 70mm prints. A 4-perf 35mm anamorphic negative was pulled down from the 5-perf version and used to strike conventional 35mm prints.

Outtakes are from the Dunkirk special features disc. The rest of the footage was taken from an SD video comparing the IMAX format aspect ratio. HD 1.78:1 footage from the Blu-Ray was lined up and color corrected to match the surrounding SD video and provide a better level of quality.
