Introducing GeoPuzzle -_- Let's put together Australia on a Mercator map

Earth's geography is certainly not one of my better subjects, and I do hope to find enough time I can dedicate to using this puzzle to help me change that. I'm good with the geometry part of the subject, but not so much the trivia part, such as "what's the name of this shape" or "what political entity does this symbol represent", but using this game I can start off treating it like a puzzle to be played with and see what I manage to learn along the way. :)
