An 80-year-old man accused of being involved in the murder and burial of a man in a shallow grave at a farm in Kroonstad in July this year has been granted bail of R15 000. The accused, who is also a medical doctor, has been instructed not to interfere with state witnesses. He was arrested on Tuesday and is facing five charges, including murder and defeating the ends of justice. The state opposed bail as it deemed the charges serious.
