Hello Everyone I am Toma Rahman. I am a Bangladeshi Student in Canada, I am doing MA at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. I work in a Bank and living in Canada since 2019. If you are new here welcome to my channel. I make videos about higher study abroad and personal finance.
In this video I wanted to give you some ideas. Low CGPA is not the end of the world. Being lazy and feeling defeated is what kills most of the dreams. I tried to explain the ways you can create a strong profile with low CGPA. My points include
Paying attention to your percentage
Trying for another country not as competitive as Canada
Paying attention to GRE and Ielts Score
Research and Work Experience
Core Subjects
Last two year GPA
Considering a degree from Bangladesh
As I said earlier only the best of the best, gets a scholarship. there is nothing in between. If your CG is a little lower you have to excel in other branches to create a competitive profile. You need to convince the University that you have what it takes to be a researcher. Then if lucky you will get a scholarship. This is one hell of a ride. Not easy at all. With dedication and hard work only you can secure a scholarship in USA or Canada. not anything else.
