After more than a century, the introduction of electric cars was prompted by the frequent rise in petrol/diesel prices and the amount of pollution created by these fuels.
Apart from benefits like as low noise pollution, low maintenance, and government subsidies, there are drawbacks such as high costs, a limited number of charging stations, lower mileage, and, most importantly, the environmental impact of battery manufacture.
But many Indian companies like Gravita, Attero has agreed on recycling Lithium-ion batteries.
So let's hope for the upcoming "Achhe din"!l
