Most people can, and have, set goals for their life. However, setting a goal and achieving that goal in an effective manner are very different. In this video I talk about how to dream again and how to set long range goals for things you really want in your life over the next ten years.
I'll have you make a list of those goals you really connect with and then prioritize that list. This is one area of goal setting that most people have tried before, but once those big dream goals are set, then what? Breaking down your goals into both midterm steps and then actionable weekly tasks is critical to achieving what you really want. By making weekly progress it encourages you to keep going rather than give up because the goal seems overwhelming.
Once you break the goals down in this way, you are able to work consistently on several at the same time and before you know it, you are achieving things you may have never thought possible.
