Thrifted PC Build - That Thrifting Series Ep. 27

Описание: Well, the day has finally come to transfer my PC into the case I thrifted quite some time ago. The main reason behind the transition is because the fans in my old case were getting a wee bit loud, and now that I'm planning on recording a podcast using this PC that would have been an issue.

Unfortunately there is still a little noise coming from the case fans of this build, but unless I want to drop $30 per fan I won't be getting any completely silent fans any time soon. Fortunately the mic I'll be using for the pod has a nice cardioid pattern (which minimizes noise from behind the mic), and I have a couple of ideas that could help dampen the rest of the noise. If everything works out I hope to have the first episode of The Thrifter's Guide to Geekery up by Hobbit Day.

Welcome to That Thrifting Series, where I talk about all of the awesome stuff I find while #thrifting and dumpster diving. The main things I focus on are board games and tech, but every now and then some clothing or home goods make their way into the mix. I generally thrift stuff for myself or my family/friends, but maybe one day I'll find something that I would be willing to sell on Craigslist or eBay.
