Regarding the incident in which a man who fled after a shooting during an arms trade on the Maekawk side of Mae Sot city, Thailand, was personally handed over to Thai authorities by Cobra Column commander Colonel Da Baw;

and regarding the statement that the commander of the junta’s Light Infantry Division 22 said that if Battalion 275 is attacked, airstrikes will be carried out on 18 locations in Myawaddy.

In Rakhine State, the military junta—now in a weakened military position—carried out airstrikes without regard for former soldiers who had served them or their family members.
