1974 Brut LC29 --- Original:
Model # LC29 Serial # 389632. Engine model LC295. Engine serial # 233906.
Brut snowmobiles were innovative and fast! They featured water cooling and a lay-down engine placement in an all-aluminum chassis. 299 were built in 1974. Displacement was 300cc -- two cylinder. 30 horsepower
Bruts were built in Brooten, Minnesota. Engineers at Polaris left and started their own snowmobile manufacturing company because they felt that liquid cooling would deliver more consistent snowmobile performance. These machines were great trail sleds and excelled at cross-country racing venues.
This example is a 1,331 mile original.
