Burrowing Owl is a tiny owl living in holes in the ground. It does not dig hole from scratch but uses already created holes
Burrowing Owl selected a nesting site in plain site - at the beginning of the popular trail (~ 10 meters from the trail).
Burrowing owls were not seen here several years.
Burrowing owls does not leave the nest during the day.
It is always alert - it reacts on other birds and their voices.
The second burrowing owl selected another nest nearby.
Hopefully, they will have families and raise babies.
