6hp Springfield Gas Engine

Описание: Circa 1907 portable 6hp Springfield Gas Engine. Surviving in very original condition on a factory wooden wheeled cart. The Springfield is a 1890's design and features overhead camshaft and fuel injection. The engine is water cooled and circulates it from a large bucket via the side shaft driven piston water pump. This particular engine was sold new in eastern Pennsylvania and its original ownership history is known. This engine graced the cover of the very first issue of Gas Engine Magazine in 1966.
