The unmanned, reusable US Air Force’s X-37B space plane has landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida after spending a record-breaking 718 days in orbit performing a secret mission. The OTV-4 mission (Orbital Test Vehicle-4) was the fourth mission for the X-37B mini space shuttle. The goal of this mission was to perform technology testing in orbit, says the US Air Force. The US Air Force’s X-37B space plane was launched on May 20th 2015 on an Atlas V rocket.The fifth X-37B mission is scheduled to launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, later in 2017.
