Hello, all my lovely minions! Welcome if you are new and welcome back you OG minions.
Today I'm sewing a vintage 1970's dress using Simplicity pattern 9062. I will try to take you step by step following the instructions provided. This pattern has a classic 70s, silhouette and I am so hear for the sleeves!
I am making this dress out of something a little unexpected...an old bed sheet covered in shark fins. It is a polyester/cotton blend and honestly the print with black cotton accents gives this classic 70s silhouette such a quirky twist.
I love reusing fabric and giving it another life. Let me know if you've ever sewn with thrifted
or upcycled fabric.
