Light wood oil from Scherell´s. Three to four times oil treatment before the banjo is mounted with strings.
Oil Treatment makes the wood resistant to dirt and daily hard music work. At the same time i think the oil highlights the woods structure. On all my banjos , it is the wood´s unique structure that makes the decoration of the instrument.
Before oil treatment the entire banjo has been assembled for testing. The angle of the neck fits.
Extensive use of sanding with sandpaper size 120-600.
I hope that part 3 will be where this my very first 12" banjo will be playing its notes perhaps in double C tuning.
