Описание: Museum Operations Manager and Weapons Curator Dan Acre continues his series of videos on the small-arms collection at the Museum.

The Maschinengewehr 08, or MG 08, was the German Army's standard machine gun in World War I and is an adaptation of Hiram S. Maxim's original 1884 Maxim gun. It was produced in a number of variants during the war.

A new mini-series during this down-time to bring the museum home to you during your quarantine or self isolation.

In a period of social distancing you can not visit the museum; so we will give you regular updates on how our museum works, who are our staff and volunteers, a behind the scenes look at our museum during the closure.
