💠Suzanne Newman from Answers for Elders shares memories of her journey with her mom at Chateau Retirement Communities in Lynnwood, Washington nearly 20 years ago. In part 3, she recalls first entering the community.

💠"Do your senior loved ones have a specific movie or TV show that they love? Maybe there's some things they share in common with other residents in a community. Here is the theater room. I remember coming in here with my mom. Look at the beautiful chairs. We would sit and we would watch things. And this was right about the time when 'Mamma Mia' came out, and they did a showing of 'Mamma Mia,' the Musical. And of course, she was Swedish, so it was a big deal that she got to be involved in this type of an activity. And it was really, really fun."
