Didn't make it in time to catch them first arriving here and should of just stayed and waited at Point Pleasant. I moved here after hearing this Union Pacific Grain Train needed to set out some cars at the Pollock Siding due to a car defect so I moved to this crossing only to hit multiple rpad wprl constructions which prevented me from arriving on time to film a proper crossing and switcjimg video and the head end so I just got these switching moved of the cars across the Meadowview Road railroad crossing on the UP Sacramento Sub in Sacramento, California and some Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains on the SACRT Blue Line passing by arriving and departing the Meadowview Station. Also, this grain train was two trains built into one but the first section already had departed hours ago before this. They split at the South Sac Siding.
The signal system here at Pollock and the Meadowview Rd crossing has always been slow since the wayside system and crossing was updated in 2015 for the Blue Line light rail extension. Each light in and out the siding the freight train had to wait an extensive amount of time to get a light which resulted in me missing the last activation so this video really just annoyed me filming and it was hot. Then the clip where the freight train backed up the first time that I did get the activation, a truck blocked the right signal.

Crossing also has two LED blank out train signs and two advanced warning signal yellow flashers for a nearby intersection behind me when traffic fills up to tracks they activate.
This crossing is a jointly owned mixed install by Sacramento Regional Transit and Union Pacific with the two closest signals being an mixed install with the shoulder cantilever being an WP 1970s signal install with its bell, lights and mast light head and junction box being the changes. Its gated mast is an UP early 2010s signal install with changes to its gate and gate lights. The close gateless signal is an UP Mid 2010s signal install. t
