Helena & Haunter Drag Agatha to the Afterlife (Pokémon Masters EX)

Описание: So Helena is actually pretty dang good as a ghost-type unit. Her two main Tech options are Paralysis and Special Defense debuffs. Paralysis is easy enough to spread with Lick + HE 1 giving her an innate 60% chance off a 1-gauge move, meaning it’s spammable enough to get pretty consistently.

Her SpDef debuffs aren’t as reliable as you’d hope, only reaching 40% chances with OaR 1 on her grid, but it never hurts. She also gets Paralysis Synergy 6 and Brainteaser for extra DPS multipliers that make her DPS actually quite good. I’d say she outclasses Fantina in terms of Ghost DPS, and she’s easier to set up for than Allister.

Helena nukes with Static Shock as her innate multiplier and Smarty-Pants on the grid. In terms of raw nuking potential, she’s actually one of the better Ghost nukes imo. Nowhere near SS Korrina level, but quite good. Ideally I would bring Renegade Cynthia for Ghost Zone, but I wanted Lucian here for more consistency in enabling Smarty-Pants and to help with the gauge. I brought SS Dawn as a third to top off SpAtk and to help tank (even with a very unlucky freeze).

Overall, Helena is a pretty good free Ghost-type unit. Whether it’s paralysis utility, nuking, or even some Evasion strategies, she’s a solid choice.

Note: I got really unlucky with my Lucky Cookies for her and so until I get more, she’s stuck with Troublemaker instead of Critical Strike.
