The reverse of the ATB 5 oz Kisatchie Coin features a wild turkey flying over a grass-covered plain adjacent to a piney forest. "KISATCHIE," "LOUISIANA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "2015" are inscribed around the rim of the coin.

The obverse depicts a familiar portrait of former president George Washington. Inscriptions around his image read "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "QUARTER DOLLAR."
