Holly Lodge Girls’ School, founded in 1922 in West Derby, Liverpool, grew from a Victorian house into a respected girls’ college. Evacuated during WWII, it returned and expanded, later becoming a comprehensive school in the 1970s. Despite closure threats in the 1980s, it endured, and today it stands as Holly Lodge Girls’ College, serving around 950 students while preserving nearly a century of history in local archives.
