Midnight Twilight Ascension Pre-Patch Event and Rewards (simple tips)

The event runs from February 27th to March 2nd—the official release date for the Midnight expansion.

Starting quest (Disrupt the Call) should be available to level 10+ 00:19
and should pop up upon login. If not, you can simply pick it up from the Adventure Guide.

The quests are simple and straightforward (full list in descriptions):

05. Xal'atath's Proven Faithful

07. Cult It Out
08. Twilight's Dawn and Disrupt the Call (daily quests)

Twilight's Blade Tabard is awarded after completing the quest chain. 03:45

Light-Forged Mechsuit Mount is obtained by earning the Two Minutes to Midnight Achievement, 04:23
which requires defeating all 18+ rares during the Twilight Ascension in Twilight Highlands.

(TIP!) The main Warbound currency is Twilight's Blade Insignia, obtainable from account-wide weekly quests, 05:00
some daily quests, and all rares and events in Twilight Highlands.

(TIP!) Blizzard disabled transfers temporarily due to exploits or glitches. No one is sure why, but they are working on it. 05:25

(TIP!) You can use the event currency to purchase Warbound Level 121 (Champion 1/8) catch-up gear for alts, sold by Armorer Kalinovan in Twilight Highlands at 49.8, 81.2. 05:51

(TIP!) Do not waste your currency on gear yet, since most of it can be obtained from rares in Twilight Highlands.

(TIP!) Rare spawn times have changed to every 5 minutes, and each rare drops 2 to 3 Twilight's Blade Insignia plus warband gear. 06:25

(TIP!) For rare farming, do the intro quests, weekly quests, and dailies, then use the LFG system to find or create a group farming these rares. 07:00

You can also buy unique event pets, toys, mounts, decor, and cosmetics sold by Materialist Ophinell in Twilight Highlands at coordinates 49.8, 81.2. 07:25
