In the effect, you zoom into one part of the newspaper clipping and make the rest of the newspaper semi-transparent.
The steps involved in creating this effect include:
1. Insert the relevant picture
2. Crop the part of the picture you want to highlight
3. Add custom animation to the background picture to make it transparent
4. Add Entrance and Emphasis animation to make the cropped part of the picture pop up and draw audience attention.
