Before flying back to New Zealand, we take one peaceful day to explore Palakkad, Kerala. From the misty paddy fields of Kollengode, to a nostalgic tea shop, a waterfall walk, and the hilltop Vamala Murugan Temple (featured in Kunjiramayanam) — this trip feels like stepping into a Kerala movie.
Cold wind, green fields, mountain views, and rain waiting for us till the end — this is the Kerala we miss.
