I had the privilege to meet Zizih, the shaman of the Shertukpen tribe. To give you a little bit of a background Shertukpen, Shertukpen is one of an ethnic group of A.P. with a population of only 4,200 – considerably a minority in comparison to other tribes. They are mostly centered around the West of A.P, close to the Bhutan border, and are believed to have descendants from a marriage between the Tibetan King and Ahom Princess.
