We had a great visit with Andy Gioia, Head Brewer and Owner of Birdsmouth Beer, and his team at their awesome brewery located in Fort Monmouth. The fully renovated facility is on the site of the former Commissary for the Fort, which was once the supermarket for military families who lived and worked at the Fort.
Andy makes the kind of beers we like: easy-drinking, tasty, everyday lagers that are all made right here in New Jersey. They keep their beer menu simple, with a staple of 5-7 beers that you can enjoy at the brewery, on tap at many area bars and restaurants, or through your local liquor stores.
This is an awesome new space with comfortable seating, picnic tables for you to order or bring in your own food, corn hole, pinball machines, and much more.
