This 26-year-old patient underwent a previous FUE hair transplant at another clinic in 2019.
After 18 months he underwent an FUE procedure with Dr Arshad in 2020. The patient has been on Finasteride 1mg per day since 2018. After surgery with Dr Arshad this was continued and Minoxidil 5% topical was also added to his regime.
There is a huge difference between a patient needing a top-up/touch up to add density compared to a repair case. This patient had a very poor yield from his first hair transplant and moreover, the grafts were misdirected during implantation which meant the hair grew in an unnatural way. Dr Arshad added softer grafts and placed grafts (with correct directionality) next to the misdirected ones. This process has softened the hairline and made it appear much more natural. The patient is very pleased with the outcome.
