How to finish your needlepoint canvas into a shadow box frame

The matboard you are cutting to wrap the needlepoint around should be 1/8 smaller than the work.
I'm using the Chandler mini high heat glue gun. On Amazon for about $13. I love it. The high heat works best (better than the low heat guns).
The Matboard that is best is the Canson Mi Tientes in #120 pearl gray (basically white), 16 x 20 in. It costs $5.29 at Hobby Lobby. Here is the link:https://tinyurl.com/upyz5963
If you search the barcode # which is 3148955703168 Google brings up a site where you can buy it online for like $3.19. I haven't purchased it from there.
