Gracious and Merciful God,
On this Ash Wednesday, we come before you with contrite hearts,
Acknowledging our humanity and our need for Your forgiveness.
As the ashes are placed upon our foreheads,
May they serve as a tangible reminder of our mortality,
And ignite within us a deep sense of repentance and renewal.

Grant us the grace to turn away from sin,
And to embrace the path of righteousness.
May this Lenten season be a time of spiritual growth,
As we journey closer to You with each passing day.

Help us to fast from those things that distract us from Your presence,
And to feast on Your Word and Your love.
Guide us through the desert of temptation,
And lead us to the oasis of Your grace and mercy.

As we walk the road to Calvary with Jesus,
May we be reminded of His sacrificial love,
And His victory over sin and death.
Empower us to take up our cross daily,
And follow Him with unwavering faith and devotion.

O God, as we embark on this Spiritual Journey,
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit,
And strengthen us to live as faithful disciples,
Reflecting Your love and light to the world.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.
