This is a compilation of some of the fun and amusing signs I came across while in China. "Engrish" technically refers to bad English translations from the Japanese language, but it can also refer to poor English translations from Chinese.
In this collection, I included humorous signs I encountered that have poor grammar, incorrect spelling, signs that just sounded slightly odd in English, or those that don't make sense at all; as well as some interesting pictographic signs. Though, I've been told by people who have been to China frequently in the recent past, the English translations have apparently been improving greatly for the most part. However, there still remains quite a few signs that just make English speakers smile :)
